Brady Campaign

Can you name three female inventors? It’s not easy when only 10.9% of US patents are held by women (up from 7.2% since 2016).

On International Women’s Day, we encouraged more girls to get into STEM by giving them role models and celebrating the amazing contributions of female inventors throughout history. Then we started the Microsoft Patent Program, an ongoing program that helps female inventors obtain patents globally.

Since its inception in 2016, the Microsoft Patent Program has achieved remarkable success, securing a total of 10 patents, 1 patent-pending, and counting for young women across the globe.

brady campaign:
toddlers kill

In 2015, toddlers shot and killed more Americans than terrorists. In this satirical campaign we offer a solution to end the violence. Because if common sense gun laws aren't the answer, what is?

Jennifer Baker, a spokeswoman for the National Rifle Association, called the ad "offensive" and accused the Brady Campaign of trying to "sensationalize tragedy to push a gun control agenda." She added, "If they were truly concerned about safety, they would be spending their resources on safety and training." - NBC News
